offer free pregnancy testing at our centre in Felixstowe.
Think
you might be pregnant?
Our
pregnancy tests can be used from the day after you have missed a
period. You will need to either bring in an early morning urine sample
in a clean bottle or provide one at the centre. One of our advisors
will then perform the test and present you with the result a few
minutes later.
If
the test is positive we will then be able to discuss your options with
you.

you test is positive and you need support during your pregnancy we
provide this help.
If
the test is negative we will be able to provide you with advice on
contraception, and to direct you to services that can help you to
prevent pregnancy if you do not want a baby at the moment.

If you experience a negative test but still want to try to conceive we
can direct you to services that can help you increase you chances of
having a baby. We can also support you through future pregnancy
tests if you wish.
What
next?
If
your test is negative and you still believe you could be pregnant we
can repeat the test in another week. We are happy to provide repeat
tests at weekly intervals if necessary.
If
your test is positive we recommend that this is confirmed by a doctor.
Although our tests are 99% accurate we can never confirm that you are
pregnant, just that you have had a positive or negative pregnanct test.
If
you have had unprotected sex we recommend that you seek testing for
sexually transmitted infections at the sexual health clinic at Ipswich
Hospital.
